Matt Boudreaux

Financial Services Coordinator

Matt joined KCS Wealth Advisors in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience in the banking and financial services industry, where he discovered his passion for financial planning. He is committed to understanding what it is that is important to his clients, before working with them in creating and implementing a plan to help them succeed. He believes that planning, along with education and creating good financial habits are the keys to success for his clients.

Matt graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Business Management in 2014. He has passed the FINRA series 7, 63 and 65 exams in addition to the Louisiana Resident Life and Health Insurance exam. He is also currently in pursuit of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.

Stephen R. Moore, Jr., CPA, CFP®, ChFC®, PFS

Financial Advisor

Since 2012, Stephen has been providing wealth management services to the clients of KCS Wealth Advisors. As a financial advisor and CPA, Stephen works to create custom solutions that help bring his clients closer to achieving financial peace of mind. He focuses on listening and getting a deep understanding of what it is his clients truly want and need. As they work together to develop a plan, he takes the time to explain complicated subjects in understandable ways that define clear steps to reach goals. He holds over 40 years of combined experience in accounting, tax, and wealth management and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and Personal Financial Specialist designations. He has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams, as well as the Louisiana Resident Life & Health Insurance exam. He is also a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the American Institute of CPAS.

Stephen graduated from University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then served in the United States Army National Guard. Today, he serves on the boards of Our Lady of Fatima School Foundation and The Lafayette Parish American Legion Baseball program. He also volunteers time to his church parish, Our Lady of Fatima and the Diocese of Lafayette. He and his wife, Linda, have four daughters, Sherry, Allison, Laura and Lisa, as well as five grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, fishing and reading.

Earl Bailey, EA

Financial Advisor

Earl joined KCS Wealth Advisors in 2006 and has been providing financial advice to the firm’s clients ever since. As a financial advisor and accountant, Earl understands his clients’ entire financial situation and the tax implications of each wealth management decision. He fosters great relationships with his clients and is committed to taking the time to listen to each situation and find a custom solution that fits their needs. He is an enrolled agent and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams. He has also passed the Louisiana Resident Life and Health Insurance exam.

Earl earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Nicholls State University in 1966 and then served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He has gone on to accrue over 40 years of combined experience in accounting and wealth management. He is a member of the local Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, VFW, Marine Corps League and American Legion. He and his wife of almost 50 years, Rose, have two children, Christopher and Mary.

Cherie Hidalgo Laiche, AAMS ®

Financial Advisor

Cherie joined KCS Wealth Advisors in 2012 as a financial advisor. She delivers personalized wealth management solutions designed to fit each client’s unique situation. Her knowledge and professional experience, combined with her focus on developing long-term relationships that have allowed her to make a difference in the lives of her clients. Cherie has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation and has passed the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 exams, as well as the Louisiana Resident Life & Health Insurance exam.

Cherie graduated from University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1986. She is active in the community, serving as a long standing board member for the local rotary club, a board member for the Houma/Thibodaux Diocesan Advisory Council, board member of the St. Mary Parish Library Advisory Board, ambassador for the Morgan City Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering with Central Catholic High School Eagle Club. Cherie and her husband, Cary, live in Berwick and have two sons, CJ and Connor.

Annie Fruge, AAMS®

Annie joined the KCS Wealth Advisors team in 2014.  As a financial advisor, she understands the importance of creating and implementing a plan of action to help clients meet their current and future financial goals.  She takes the time to get to know her clients and is committed to providing them with the best service possible as well as finding the best solution to fit their personal situation and needs.  Annie has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation, passed the FINRA Series 7 & 66 exams, as well as the Louisiana Resident Life, Health, & Accident Insurance exam.

Annie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.  She is an active volunteer with several local animal rescue organizations including the Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana & Every Paw Animal Rescue.  She also volunteers her time to local adult community theatre productions as well as youth community theatre productions.   Annie and her husband, Eric, both grew up in Ville Platte and are alumni of Sacred Heart of Ville Platte.  They are happy to be raising their son, Rhett, in their hometown.
